Because writing is a metaphor of the act of being human. Being human draws on consciousness being received from beyond the physical into the physical, marrying the earth with the origin, the human body with the human soul. Thoughts written are a microcosm of that same thing. A bringing of the beyond into the concrete. Writing is sublimely human. The translation of what is beyond into letters, one letter at a time. It's mind-boggling to consider the enormity of consciousness and the attempt to write it. Mind-boggling and beautiful.
